You certainly haven’t missed this news, new restrictions to curb the COVID-19 epidemic will apply from July 21, 2021, with the extension of the sanitary pass.
The President of the Republic announced it during his speech on July 12, 2021, your 2021 summer vacations are likely to be impacted.
Here’s a summary of what you can and can’t do on your unusual Slowmoov vacation (📣 At Slowmoov anything is possible) Subject to further change.
Your welcome in our unusual villages
We don’t require a health pass (i.e. a full vaccination + 7 days or a negative PCR test less than 48 hours old) to come and vacation in one of Slowmoov’s unusual accommodation villages. So you can come and rent a cabin or any other unusual lodging in complete peace of mind, and spend a relaxing moment in the heart of nature.
Our Slowmoov villages in Champagne, Corrèze and Auvergne are mainly open to the outdoors. So you can move freely in the alleys, or enjoy the outdoor facilities without a mask.
On the other hand, we ask you to wear a mask whenever necessary, especially in our indoor areas.
Each of our atypical homes is private. This means it’s just you and your friends or family. It’s like being in a sanitary bubble.
Have you been vaccinated? Or have you had a negative PCR for less than 48 hours? Here’s what you can do during your stay at Slowmoov
If you’re vaccinated or have a negative PCR test less than 48 hours old, it’s simple: you’ll have access to absolutely all services and activities within the village site and in the surrounding communes: restaurants, amusement parks, museums, castles, etc. throughout the summer of 2021 (subject to new announcements).
You’ll have access to our breakfast room, restaurant, playground and spa-balneo areas.
You can also explore the surrounding area, visit museums, go to a restaurant, have a drink in a café, etc.
Are you unvaccinated and don’t have a PCR test that’s less than 48 hours old? Here’s what you can do on vacation in our Slowmoov villages
If you don’t want to comply with the new requirement to be vaccinated or to have a negative PCR test less than 48 hours old, that doesn’t mean you have to shut yourself away in your shell. Slowmoov offers a wide range of activities.
Throughout the summer, you’ll be able to access your unusual accommodation, enjoy walks in the countryside or in the surrounding towns, and visit certain monuments or museums that don’t welcome more than 50 people at a time (and there are a few around our three unusual villages).
You’ll also have access to our Spa/balneo areas, as they are reserved for a specific time slot. After each use, the Slowmoov team thoroughly disinfects these areas.
Finally, from the beginning of August, you won’t be able to go to the restaurant in the unusual village, or to any other restaurant in the surrounding area. Instead, you can pick up take-away meals from the restaurant owners, order a packed lunch from reception, or why not use your gîte’s kitchen to prepare a tasty meal for the whole family.

Vaccination will be compulsory in France for :
😷 From July 21, 2021: to cultural and leisure sites (castles, museums, leisure parks etc.) that welcome more than 50 people.
😷 From early August: to restaurants, shopping centers, airplanes, trains, coaches, hospitals and other medical facilities.
Non-vaccinated people will only be able to access these sites on presentation of a negative PCR test less than 48 hours old.
The health pass will also be compulsory for minors aged 12 to 17, but only from August 30. This will help them to have a good vacation.
