A vacation home steeped in history
A Toue Cabanée is a wooden boat typical of the Loire Valley, once used for river transport. Once it reached its destination, it was recycled as a dwelling. So we’ve turned this key piece of river history on its head to offer you 100% made-in-France eco-responsible accommodation with all the comforts of home!
The “toue cabanée” offers comfortable living on board, providing an unusual and original alternative to traditional vacation accommodation. With its warm wooden interior, it combines privacy with a breathtaking view over the lake of the Domaine des Monédières. A change of scenery guaranteed!
The “toue cabanée” is fitted out and equipped as tourist accommodation to the standard of a 4-star hotel room. Its 25 m² wooden habitat is designed to accommodate 5 people.
On board, you’ll find a double bed, a double sofa bed and a single trundle bed. The bathroom is comfortable, and the galley is equipped with everything you need to prepare your own meals.
And to top it all off, there’s a deck terrace where you can enjoy the peace and quiet of life on the water.
At the Village des Monédières, enjoy the peace and quiet of the Corrèze countryside. The heated swimming pool and sauna invite you to relax.
