The charm of the region and the design of our accommodation make it an ideal place for a vacation for couples, families or friends, just a few hours from Paris.
A real way to take a break from our busy lives
Le Village de la Champagne, sleeping in a barrel
Located in Bar-sur-Aube, ideally situated on the Champagne route and close to the Nigloland park, the Village de la Champagne is a vacation village offering original accommodation. Four of them are particularly unusual: the lightning bolt, the square of stars, the troll hut and Robinson’s dream. Le Foudre, sleeping in a barrel. A unique, small-capacity experience. The foudre is nothing other than a large barrel, once used to store wine in cellars.
“We’ve turned it from its original use into an unusual accommodation. Perfect for a themed stay in a wine-growing region,” concludes Jeanne from Slowmoov’s sales department. Six square meters in all, a cosy nest for lovers. All the comforts are combined in this small space: a bedroom, bathroom and kitchenette. From €41 per night for two people.

The square of stars
Fall asleep under the magnificent starry Champagne sky, or keep an eye out for shooting stars while lying in bed. Le Carré d’Étoiles is a wooden cabin with a bed nestled just under the roof. There’s even a telescope for stargazing. The accommodation is designed for two people.
Its large double bed is nestled in the mezzanine, a real cosy nest. The fully-equipped living room and kitchen are ideal for intimate meals. The kitchenette is cleverly hidden behind a partition to reveal a shower. Ideal for a romantic getaway. From €59 per night for two people.

The troll hut
Ideal for those who want to immerse themselves in their childhood tales. Its sloping roof and twisted chimney plunge visitors into the magical world of forest creatures. The interior of the dwelling is very unusual and plunges visitors into the world of imaginary creatures. Families, and especially children, can’t fail to love it. From €71 per night for four people.

Robinson’s dream
An unusual cabin, topped with a boat hull. Le Rêve de Robinson is designed for 6 people, and will delight young and old alike. Imagined as the cabin of a boat, with a surface area of 20 m² and a volume of 50 m3, the accommodation offers 3 spaces with beds. The accommodation was built by CPC chantier naval, a shipyard that has been building boats for over 38 years, and has been reinventing itself with unusual accommodation for the past ten years. From €82 for six people.
Ten other accommodations share the vacation village. ” Tourists generally come from cross-border countries such as Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany and England, but we also have walkers who follow the route of Sain-Jacques de Compostelle, and overnight visitors who come to enjoy Nigloland,” explains Jeanne. A little bonus,” she adds, “is that rates are reduced for stays of two nights or more.
