Slowmoov’s unusual villages offer you the chance to soak up the sun in spas, Jacuzzis or whirlpool baths, either private or to be privatized. A much-appreciated way to relax during your stay with us.
To ensure that this moment of relaxation is as enjoyable as possible, you need to be aware of a few basic rules and regulations.

If there’s one thing we love, it’s that hot water in spas, especially in spring, autumn and even winter. However, the temperature is often too high. As a guideline, the Agence Régionale de Santé recommends that we use our spas at a temperature of between 33° and 36°.
Also, it’s not advisable to bathe for too long in water over 38°.
We therefore recommend setting the temperature at around 33° in summer, and around 36° in other seasons.
Recommended daily time
It’s said that to get the most out of a spa session, it should last a minimum of 15 minutes and a maximum of 40 minutes.
The ideal length of time in a spa is around twenty minutes. This allows you to enjoy the relaxing benefits of the bubbles and heat, without feeling too drowsy when you leave.
You can repeat your relaxing bath several times a day, as required.
The perfect sequence for a spa session, so as not to overtax your body, is as follows:
🛀 5 minutes of temperature adaptation
🛀 15-minute massage
🛀 5 minutes of jets if your spa has them
🛀 5 minutes recovery in water
Medical contraindications
While the spa helps you relax and recuperate, it’s important to remember that prolonged exposure to hot water can lead to health problems such as dehydration, hypothermia and skin irritation.
People with heart problems, the elderly and pregnant women should consult their doctor to find out what temperature is recommended for their condition, as well as the recommended time of use.
Important: children under 10 should not use the spa.
Extra tips
Don’t forget to take a small drink with you into the spa, to make sure you’re well hydrated, and what’s more, it’s very pleasant.
We ensure that the water in our spas is disinfected regularly. To avoid polluting the water unnecessarily, we recommend that you take a shower beforehand. This way, residues of make-up, cream and dead skin won’t block the filter and dirty the water in which you’ll be enjoying this 100% relaxing moment.
