General rental conditions

1 - Reservations / Payment

The reservation is effective upon confirmation by the rental company, upon receipt of a deposit of 100% of the total rental amount. You will then receive a confirmation e-mail containing practical information about your stay.

Please note that the reservation option is valid for 7 days. Once this period has elapsed and in the absence of payment, it will be automatically cancelled and the accommodation will be released for rental.

The company reserves the right to refuse reservations for a single night during school vacations and public holiday weekends, or to limit the number of such reservations when requested more than 30 days before the start of the holiday.

Terms and conditions for bookings made using gift vouchers (boxes, gift cards, etc.)
In the case of a booking made through a third party, the booking confirmation voucher with the booking number must be presented in order to make a booking. Without presentation of the gift voucher, in the absence of proof, full payment will be required to obtain the keys (subject to availability).
Any refund of the rental will be processed retrospectively once the correct documents have been found, subject to a handling fee of €15 incl. VAT.

People wishing to offer a reservation as a gift must pay the full price of the desired service at the time of reservation or purchase of the gift voucher. Gift vouchers can be purchased by phone, e-mail or in our gift store.

Please note that for all firm bookings, customers must provide a telephone number or e-mail address where they can be contacted, including on the day of arrival.

2 - Security deposit

A deposit of €500 (in cash, cheque, foreign currency or bank transfer) must be paid on the day of arrival. This deposit will be reimbursed if no damage is found after the departure inventory.

Inventory and state of repair
The state of repair and inventory are carried out before your arrival, and we provide you with clean accommodation in good condition. The final inventory and state of repair is carried out by our cleaning teams, who come to prepare the accommodation for subsequent guests.
Please report any problems with the cleanliness or state of your accommodation immediately after your arrival.
Please note: any complaint not notified immediately will not be accepted and you will be responsible for any problems found.
In the event of any problem found, relating to cleanliness, furniture or the accommodation itself, you will be asked to pay any costs incurred in restoring the property to its original condition. After payment, the deposit will be returned to you. In the event of non-payment, the deposit will be retained.

Bed linen and towels are provided, but may not be used outside the accommodation or for any purpose other than that for which they are provided.
During final cleaning, if they are found to be in poor condition or missing, they will be invoiced to the tenant.

3 - Accepted means of payment

4 - Arrival and departure times

You may take possession of your accommodation between 4:00 pm and 7:00 pm on the day of your arrival, and you must leave before 11:00 am on the day of your departure.
Respecting the arrival and departure times guarantees the good maintenance of the rented premises.

If you arrive after 7pm, we cannot guarantee that you will be welcomed on site.
In the event of an unforeseen event delaying your arrival, you must contact us on the number provided on your booking form.

However, if the accommodation is not vacated at the agreed time (i.e. before 11 a.m.), a supplement of 35€ will be charged to the tenant.

5 - Modification or cancellation

Notified by you BEFORE your arrival

If you have to cancel your booking, please inform us immediately in writing.

Cancellation conditions according to chosen rate:

  • Standard rate :
    • 1 month before arrival: €15 booking fee
    • Between 1 month and 15 days before arrival: 40% of the amount withheld.
    • Between 15 days and 72 hours before arrival: 70% of the amount withheld.
    • Between 72 hours and the day of arrival: 100% of the amount withheld.
  • Super Early Booking or Non-Refundable Fare:
    No refunds, modifications or exchanges are possible.
  • Flexible rate :
    • 90% refund up to 72 hours before arrival.
    • 100% of the amount withheld after 72 hours.
  • Boxed reservations:
    Boxed reservations cannot be modified or cancelled.

Please note that guests are required to pay 100% of the booking price when booking online.

If the tenant does not show up on the scheduled arrival date, the contract becomes null and void and the total rental amount is retained. In this case, the Village reserves the right to re-let the accommodation from the day of non-arrival, for the entire duration of the planned stay.

For any modification made by the customer (change of date, cancellation of extras, modification of accommodation…), a handling fee of 15€ will be charged.

Notified by the Village BEFORE your stay
In the event of a weather warning or flood warning, with external events beyond our control, such as heavy rain, storms or thunderstorms, the management reserves the right to cancel your stay for safety reasons. In this case, we will offer you the possibility of rescheduling your stay to a later date, within the current 12 months. If you have already left home, we will offer you alternative accommodation at no extra charge. In this case only, you will receive a 50% discount on the next equivalent stay within the current 12 months.
If you are not satisfied with any of these offers, you will be refunded the full amount paid; no other compensation may be claimed.

Notified by yourself ON SITE
If the stay is shortened for any reason whatsoever, the total rental price is retained. No refund will be made.

Notified by the Village ON SITE
In the event of a weather warning or flood warning, with external events beyond our control, such as heavy rain, storms or thunderstorms, the management reserves the right to cancel your night in a Toue Cabanée, for safety reasons. You will be offered alternative accommodation, subject to availability and at no extra charge. In this case only, you will be entitled to a 50% discount on the next equivalent stay in a Toue Cabanée within the next 12 months. No other compensation can be claimed. Only if no alternative accommodation is available, will you be reimbursed in full or offered a rescheduled date within the current 12 months.

Early departure
In the event of early departure, you will not be entitled to any form of refund.

6 - Price list

Our rates include all taxes (excluding any tourist tax). Only the rates shown on the “rates” tab of our website are binding.
Our rates include the rental of the accommodation and its equipment, utilities (water, electricity, heating), bed linen (beds are made up on arrival), towels and access to free on-site leisure activities.
Our rates do not include personal consumption (breakfast, picnic, packed lunch, miscellaneous supplements, rentals, etc.), access to paid leisure activities, the deposit and tourist tax.

Rates and special financial arrangements
Prices for accommodation and services The applicable rates are those shown on the website of our online reservation center. All available dates are shown. Rates may be modified at any time by the company without prior notice. In the event of a change in rates, any reservation already made and validated by the payment of a deposit remains firm and subject to the conditions defined at the time the reservation was made: no change in the price of a reservation made prior to a change in rates may be taken into account, whether to the customer’s advantage or disadvantage.

Promotions are effective from their date of validity on our website. These promotions are not retroactive or valid after their expiry date.
Special offers cannot be combined with each other or with permanent offers.

It’s best to book options in advance.
Accommodation capacity and occupant categories Each accommodation has a maximum capacity that is clearly defined on the website of our online reservation center. When booking, you are required to correctly enter the actual number of adults, children and babies who will be occupying the accommodation. For obvious safety and insurance reasons, we ask you to respect this declared number of occupants (including babies). The company reserves the right to check the number and age of occupants at any time if it suspects a breach of this rule.

Final cleaning of accommodation We want to offer our customers clean accommodation on arrival. This is why cleaning is included in the price (except for the kitchen area, where dishes must be washed and rubbish emptied), unlike many rental sites. However, we would like to draw your attention to the fact that we are responsible for the cleaning of accommodation that has been used in NORMAL conditions of hygiene and respect for the material.
If we find that the accommodation is returned in an abnormally dirty condition, requiring a longer cleaning than usual, you will be invoiced at the rate of 50€TTC/hour for the extra hours spent cleaning.

Modification of your reservation, date or type of accommodation, by the company In case of necessity and only in exceptional cases that cannot be arranged otherwise, we reserve the right to modify your reservation for a stay in an unusual accommodation. This change can only be made to your advantage, either by offering you accommodation on the same date at a price that is at least equivalent if not higher, or by offering you to stay on the planned date in accommodation at a lower price but with compensation, or by offering you another date of stay. This compensation can take 3 different forms, which we leave up to you to choose from at your convenience:

  • accept the change of accommodation and we will refund the difference in price if the new accommodation is at a lower rate than the one you paid,
  • or you can cancel your booking and receive a full refund of the sums you have already paid,
  • or you can change your arrival date and take advantage of your accommodation at another time without any change fees.

7 - Toues Cabanées special conditions

For safety reasons, we advise you to book a Toue cabanee that is accessible on foot for non-swimmers. We cannot be held responsible for any accidents if you prefer to use an anchored Toue.

In addition, life jackets must be worn by children under 12 years of age and all non-swimmers when boating on the water and when out on the Toue cabanee outside the cabin.

8 - Pets

Pets are allowed in our accommodations (with a supplement) under the following conditions:

  • The tenant will have to pay a supplement per night and per animal
  • Under no circumstances may the tenant use the equipment in the accommodation (bedding, sofa, crockery) for their pet.
  • The tenant must provide all accessories necessary for the life of his animal.
  • Only one pet is allowed per accommodation (except in exceptional cases, please contact us).
  • The tenant is responsible for any nuisance caused by his or her pet and assumes full liability: noise pollution, droppings, etc.
  • We strongly recommend that you leave your dog (if it’s not barking) on the terrace of La Toue Cabanée.
  • When accessing the Toues Cabanées at anchor (boat access), the renter is responsible for his animal if it falls into the water.
  • If other tenants (neighbors) complain about the nuisance caused by the animal, the tenant must take the necessary steps to put an end to it.

9 - Swimming pool

Heated indoor pool open all season at the Champagne village and the Monédières village
Heated outdoor pool (not covered) open in high season (off season: depending on outdoor temperatures) at the Toue des Demoiselles village

  • Swimming pool open daily from 09:30 to 19:00*.
  • Children under parental supervision / Access to the pool forbidden to children under 10 unaccompanied by an adult.
  • Shower mandatory
  • No smoking or vaping
  • No food or drink allowed
  • No running around the pool
  • No jumping
  • Animals prohibited
  • Swimwear must comply with safety and hygiene requirements. To preserve bathing water quality, swimwear must be made of fabric specifically designed for this purpose, and must not have been worn prior to entering the pool. Authorized: 1-piece swimsuits, 2-piece swimsuits, swim trunks, swim shorts. Not authorized: topless, nudism, burkini.
  • Wearing a bonnet is not compulsory
  • For infants, conventional diapers should be replaced by special bath diapers.

*These times may vary during the season

10 - Personal effects and accommodation equipment

We recommend that you do not leave valuables in the accommodation. The Village accepts no responsibility in the event of theft.
The tenant undertakes to report any lost, broken, stolen or damaged equipment, and is responsible for reimbursing it.

11 - Complaints and disputes

In order not to be held responsible for any shortcomings in the inventory of your accommodation, we ask you to notify us of any shortcomings or deterioration immediately after your arrival.
Any complaint relating to a stay must be sent by registered letter with acknowledgement of receipt within 30 days of the stay to the following address:

This contract is governed by French law. Any dispute arising from the present contract, concerning its validity, interpretation, performance, termination, consequences and consequences, shall be submitted to the competent courts under the conditions of common law. After contacting the company’s Customer Service Department, and failing a satisfactory response within 2 months, the customer may refer the matter to the Tourism and Travel Ombudsman, whose contact details and procedures are available on his website: www.mtv.travel.

12 - Protection of personal data

In compliance with European Regulation 2016/679 (RGPD), BO M’s privacy policy is accessible on the website www.slowmoov.com in the legal notices.
